Obama came to prague today to talk about nuclear disarmament. He stressed the importance of working together with other countries (especially Russia) in order to reduce the stockpile of nuclear weapons. Without seeing any trace of irony he then went on to promote US military bases in the Czech Republic as well as Poland (something Russia takes great offense to). So, it appears that Mr Obama is being more than just a little bit disingenuous with his words. He wants to expand the US military …

Those of us living in the Czech Republic who will have to house another foreign US military base care a lot that the will of the people is not taken into consideration. It seems Obama has no regard for democracy and this is upsetting that he wishes to push through american militarism with or without the consent of the host country. But nevermind, Obama can do no wrong. Carry on.

end is not truth. if czech will say no to radar, nobody will build it there. truth is, that most czech people dont want radar overthere because they dont want other army there (russia was in CR 20 years). But government think that it would be good to help USA with this …..my opinion is, radar will not be in Czech rep. and for “renijohn 012270″: EU cant say Czech what to do and USA didnt ask EU but only Czech R. and PL. u r in some fantasy land!!

i’m not saying Obama is completely truthful, but he’s following a whole path of hope and you can’t blame him for that. There are so many things that we are not aware of, and on the other hand why should we, knowing about all details of our complex world is a daily heavy job for thousands of highly qualified economic and politic specialists. There’s no way we could grasp all the aspects that he has to deal with.
